New Samaritan family, get ready to celebrate because we aren’t just marking another year—we’re celebrating 78 years of faith and fellowship for our Church Anniversary!
To kick off our anniversary celebration, join us at Anacostia Park Saturday, May 16th from 10 AM to 3 PM, for our church picnic and the NSBC Olympics featuring classic showdowns like Volleyball, Kickball, Sack Races, Horseshoes ...and so much more! The congregation will be divided into three powerhouse teams - Team Compassion; Team Conviction; &Team Connection and we are looking for a captain for each team. If you're ready to lead your squad to the winner's circle, see us after service to sign up!
And above all, remember to bring your favorite picnic lunch, snacks, and plenty of cold beverages for your family!
On Sunday, May 17th, we welcome Bishop Sylvester Poole as our guest preacher and you know when the Bishop steps into the pulpit, the atmosphere shifts! Come prepared to be uplifted, challenged, and inspired as we celebrate nearly eight decades of what God has done for New Samaritan Baptist Church.
