Ladies, it’s time to rise up and celebrate the incredible women among us!
This Sunday at 6 PM on Zoom, we are coming together for a powerful gathering — to lift up, honor, and nominate the women who have touched our lives and shown the true heart of service.
We are thrilled to announce the 2026 Women’s Day Awards, recognizing the women of NSBC who embody the spirit of Compassion, Conviction, and Connection.
Compassion — the heart that reaches out, comforts, and serves with patience, kindness, and love.
Conviction — the steadfast faith that stands firm on God’s Word, inspiring all around her.
Connection — the sisterhood that binds us together, lifting each other in love and unity.
And this year, we will also crown the NSBC Woman of the Year — a disciple whose life and example shine brightly across our community.
This is YOUR moment to take action! Nominate the extraordinary women you know and love — the women who have made a difference in your life, in our church, and in God’s Kingdom.
Don’t wait! Join us on June 1st for Sunday at 6 PM on Zoom to submit your nominations and be part of this joyful celebration.

Women's Day Award Nomination Form
The 2025 Women's Day Awards are in three categories: Compassion, Conviction and Connection. Recipients will be awarded for their services while demonstrating these NSBC Core Values. Using the form below, please nominate a NSBC member for each of the Women's Day Award categories. Award category criteria is listed below.
Compassion: is defined by its helpfulness. A general definition of compassion is sympathy and concern for the suffering of others and a desire to alleviate such suffering. Qualities of compassion are patience and wisdom, kindness and perseverance, warmth, and reserve. The bible says, But you Lord are a compassionate and gracious God slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15
Conviction: is defined as a firmly held belief. Biblical conviction is meant by beliefs derived from and based on a commitment to scripture, the Bible. As God’s Holy Word it is the whole of our lives-faith and practice. Romans 14:22 The faith which you have as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he alloweth.
Connection: the feeling that you belong to a group and generally feel close to other people. The Bible says that being spiritually connected means: We are built like a building. In Christ you are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for Christ. Colossians 2:19 Holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body being supplied and held together by the joints and ligament, grows with a growth which is from God.
We will also select a NSBC Disciple to receive the Woman of the Year award.
