A.The departure time for the trip is 7:00 a.m. promptlyfrom New Samaritan Baptist Church (NSBC), 1100 Florida Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20002.
Attendees should arrive at NSBC between 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. to allow time for check-in and bus assignments. Note: We must depart from NSBC on time to allow for travel and arrival at Sight & Sound for the 11:00 a.m. matinée showing.
- What is the cost of the outing, and what is included in the cost?
A.The cost of the outing is $155 per adultand $100 per child. The price includes bus transportation, a play ticket, and dinner.
An initial non-refundable deposit of $30.00 per person is due by Sunday, April 27, 2025, to secure your reservation. Deposits can be made at the Chosen Vessels (CV) registration table or online at newsamaritan.org.
Additional payments can be made at the CV registration table or via the online Giving link at newsamaritan.org. The final payment is due on or before September 28, 2025.
- Will I be able to purchase a ticket for the play and dinner only and provide my own transportation?
A.Unfortunately, the trip is priced as a package dealthat includes transportation, a play ticket, and dinner. - Will there be a stop en route to Sight & Sound?
A.Yes, we will be making a short stop at the Delaware House. - Will there be seating for individuals with special needs?
A.There are a limited number of seats availablefor individuals with special needs, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis due to seating arrangements at the theater. Please indicate any special seating needs at the time of your initial deposit. - Where will we be having dinner?
A.Dinner reservations have been made at the famous Miller’s Smorgasbord, a Lancaster County Amish Country Buffet (All You Can Eat)located less than 15 minutes from Sight & Sound Theatre.
