Today in our “Sunday@6” Session, Sister Karyn Haskins introduced “Victuals”! One of the three areas we are focusing on! She shared some tips and healthy snacks in her introduction! The recipes are below: 


Healthy Snacks:


After Breakfast & After Dinner Snack:


  1. 1 cup of strawberries mixed with blueberries ( or use the fruit of your choice.)
  2. Divide fruit mixture into two servings. Eat one 1/2 cup after breakfast and the 2nd 1/2 cup after dinner.  


A Balanced Break: Mid-Day Snack 

  1. 1/2 cup mix cashews (any nuts) with infused dried cranberries (or regular dried cranberries) and sharp cheese (cut your cheese into cube size pieces.) You can use the cheese of your preference. 


Apples & Peanut Butter: 

  1.  If you are vegetarian cut an apple into 6-8 slices dip it into peanut butter this is an excellent source of protein. 




Women should drink at least 11.5 cups of water daily = 2.7  liters.
